Our environmental efforts to "go green" has long been an active program
here at Paragon/Aero-Spec. Our plating shop is one of Florida's points
of pride for responsibility and efficacy. Used by the experts to teach how to
build and manage a triple containment plate processing system, it has been
featured by both State and Federal agencies as an example of excellence.
We also use recycled water to freshen our lawns, and if it rains an inch or
more, the water sprinklers stay off, conserving our reserves until needed.
Paragon also installed 440/220 wiring to use less energy and use it more
conservatively with much less wiring, lower load on the switching stations,
and lower maintenance cost.
We maintain all our environmental control systems to the highest standard
to reduce waste, cost, and increase the life of the system. We still use
whole house fans, venting and even rooftop color to save energy every day.
Our net savings per month is over $10,000 for the efforts and changes we
have made through the years, and we will continue to look for ways to
improve our energy management and environmental impact as a
responsible business and citizens of our community.
